OK, I'll post a quick update.

The kids are happy. Darwin has his first loose tooth -- two now, actually. Unfortunately, one of the adult teeth has already popped up through his gums behind one of the loose teeth, and if the loose one doens't fall out soon, a dentist will need to pull it (so the new one can get brushed properly). Seems silly to have a dentist pull a loose baby tooth. He's still crazy for Harry Potter and likes to make up spells. Solomon is very talkative; he gabs his way though sharing time. But the teachers don't seem to mind because he's so cute. Miriam loves to swing and slide and climb on things. She also likes hiding under stuff. If she's cranky or bored, I just have to toss her on the couch and pop a blanket over her, and she has a blast. If someone pulls the blanket off, she'll scream. If I give her a small blanket, she'll walk around under it, and laugh if she bumps into something. The curtains are a favourite place of hers too; she likes to hide behind them to play with a toy or eat a snack.

I (Shannon) am teaching in Primary again, this time the 11 year old girls (the Valiant Femmes, hehe). There are three girls who come fairly regularly, and they're a fun bunch, though they like to do a lot of off-topic chatting. Nathan will be teaching Seminary in the fall; he went to his first prep meeting thingy with the CES guy this week. He's working today, actually. I thought for sure that with a gov't job, he would have the holidays off, but since the GST change is happening now, they decided to stay open on Sat and Mon, so he volunteered to work both days. We might go see fireworks tonight. On Victoria Day, we decided to stay home, but we ended up seeing a lot of fireworks anyway. Some were set off in the green space behind our building, plus we could see the fireworks at the CN tower and at Ontario Place, as well as others throughout the city. I counted about a dozen different spots where we could see fireworks being set off. It was neat.
